I sat next to a young lady in Emergency row 35 on Dragon Airlines leaving from Hong Kong. Sitting next to me was Ms Wg who is from Tainan, Taiwan. She is a school teacher of English. While waiting for the plane to take off I showed her pictures on my iPhone of Singapore and my family.  Later, I put on my headset and during lunch I spoke again to her, she motioned for me to take off the headset which I did. “You were shouting at me!”

Well the anti-noise headset had done its job and the sound coming through them was only noticeably loud after I took them off.  I thought I was speaking softly, but then I remember my wife, Mildred, always says I am shouting in church or restaurants when I think I am only talking in a regular normal voice.  I guess all the speaking without a microphone all these years has taught me to be loud and project my voice well, but today it was too well.

We began talking first about the ice cream we were served then she brought up the subject which was close to her heart. “I saw and heard you praying, do you do that often?” I told her, “Yes, everyday and sometimes throughout the day.” She said, “I went to Catholic school and they made us pray prayers, but I never enjoyed it like you looked like you were on the video?” Again my answer was, “Yes, I love the Lord and find that singing helps me talk to Him and communicate issues in my heart, He speaks to me, and this causes me to want to sing all the more!”

One word led to another and soon she was telling me how she is not right with the Lord.  I could tell she was convicted.  Have you ever wanted to be an effective witness to people, even strangers? You see a simple kind jester to show someone some pictures turned out to be extremely led by the Holy Spirit and proved to actually be His divine appointment for us.  She had viewed a video I recently took of myself in the Botanical Gardens in Singapore.

I HEARD YOU PRAY, DO YOU PRAY OFTEN?

As she viewed she saw the Mist Garden in the National Orchid Garden, little did I really know how interestingly she was listening not just looking at the beautiful flowers, for she heard me say, “I am on my prayer walk, walking and praying.” It was the reason she had said, “I heard you pray, do you pray often?” I said, “Every day.” I was able as the flight was landing to pray with her for God to come back into her heart, forgive her of her sins and lead her to Himself, as I finished the prayer her tears were streaming down her face.

So awesome was that moment, just to see her heart convicted by a prayer video in a beautiful garden, on a very hot day.  I know I am a simple man who loves Jesus and loves the beauty He created.  I enjoy my work, it is really not even work, it is just following His lead, and I say, “Lead on my Lord, I love to share your truth and word and see Your mighty hands deliver and set the captives free!”

An interesting prophetic note: We were sitting in the Emergency Row 35, when I saw that as we were leaving, my last words to her was, “This is very interesting, God had this planned all along! In the Bible numbers have meanings so 35 stands for: ‘3′ – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, ‘5′ - stands for Grace,  and if you add 3 + 5 = 8 and 8 is the number for resurrection! So here we are in a row with only two seats which was for more privacy with the Father and Son and Holy Spirit sending you Grace in your time of Emergency to Resurrect your heart with Him!  Wow!  How Cool is our God?”

I love ADVENTURE! As I was growing up I loved being a Boy Scout, I loved camping outside, hiking, cooking over an open fire, sleeping out doors under the stars or in a tent. I learned early on in my how to be a leader.  I was a Patrol leader, and an Assistant Scout Master.  As a leader were able to delegate out to others the responsibilities which would be productive in our Patrol and Troop’s success.  Of course another advantage of being in Leadership was that you were able to secure the jobs that you like to do the most.  Mine was cooking and building the campfires!  Great meals on the trail!

At 16, I went to one of our Boy Scout Camps in the Mountains of New Mexico where we hiked over mountains and through streams, fought off Bear attacks, learned how to survive in the wilderness and get along with 8 to 20 other Boy Scouts. Our Adventure lasted two weeks. Although in my life at that time I was a sufferer of the disease of  Asthma, I managed it with some pain and a lot of huffing and puffing up and down the mountain trails, carrying a fully loaded backpack, but I never regretted it, I always remember it.  Some who have heard some of the harrowing stories from that time in my life seemed to have relived the Adventure with me!

Now many years later I have given my life to Jesus to be a part of His Patrol, Troop, Army, Kingdom, Family and Friend.  I seemed to have never lost my thirst for adventure, I always wanted to learn how to Fly an Airplane, but never did, so I just fly in the passenger area over 100,000 miles yearly.  In my heart my desire is to see over the next mountain, to see what and how my God will use me next.  I guess that is why I have been propelled to follow Jesus into 57 Nations of this World, having gone to some of these Nations 50 + and even 100+ times, sharing the good news of Jesus love and being bold enough to prophesy over people whom I have never met and praying for sick people to be healed. I love to see MIRACLES!

As you read the testimonies in this blog you to will discover that Jesus power through faith and action is still valid today and as we yield to the Holy Spirit we are able to do what Jesus did when He was in his ministry.  Jesus said in John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.  And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

I have gone to Nepal now for the last few years as part of a Team ministry from Singapore.  But on this trip I will be the Team leader.  The plan is to go on a Mountain Trek in the Himalayan Mountains.  No, sorry, not Mt Everest. Although it and several other famous mountains are here, we will be Trekking into the Mugu Mountains in the Western part of Nepal but in the Himalayans.

Flying to a gravel airstrip we and our team of 7 Saints, well, actually I have room for seven on the team but presently I have 5 more people I could take with me on this trip. We will take our gear and 35 Solar Panels and 35 Smokeless stoves with all the other Electric applications and batteries and we will walk or Trek down the mountain from 2500 meters, or 8,200 feet to about 2,000 meters or 6,500 feet.  In this Village there are 37 houses and 250 family members who live here. A lot of the people do not live past 50 years old because of the clay ovens in the homes, they give off carbon monoxide poisoning.  As we give them a stove with 3 eyes or platelets on it and a place for a chimney or stove pipe which we will bring to them as well, then we will increase their life span.  So our gifts are really a blessing to the whole Village.

We will also be taking with us some 400 bibles and tracts.  We plan on setting up the Solar panels and in the first light ever seen at night in this village we will hold a Miracle Crusade for 4 nights, we are believing for for this whole village to be saved. We have a pastor and will plant a church here. So great is the Adventure I can’t hardly wait.

Of course we have had battles, me with a cough that won’t quit and other things which I believe are demonic in nature.  So we are fighting the good fight of faith and warring a good warfare in the heavenlies and we have many intercessors around the World praying and agreeing with us for success.  I am being healed and I am recovering for sure! Glory!

~COME WITH ME ON A LIFETIME ADVENTURE~

I entered from the side of the Nave, I was my usual self, singing and making melody in my heart out loud to Jesus. My heart and faith were in unison praising Jesus for another opportunity to believe my God for a miracle!  I sat down by two ladies who identified themselves as Elaine and June.  It was only after we began to talk that I was informed that Pastor June was a Deaconess of the Cathedral.  As she thought she might need to move away, I invited her to stay for covering and so she would be a witness of the God possibilities I was expecting!” Said Prophet Rusty Russell

“You Will Have to Live with your Condition the rest of your life,” said her Orthopedic Doctor..

I’d  like to testify to God’s goodness and to His healing power.

I had not been able to walk normally since 25 March this year. I had to use crutches. An MRI revealed ligament sprains on both sides of my left knee and a slight tear on the inner side. The knee was supposed to heal by itself. I started physiotherapy. To cut a long story short, for 4 months, my left knee went through cycles of strengthening, followed by pain and weakening. The doctor also ordered a bone scan in late May, but the results were clear.

I believed God would heal me and everyday I would proclaim healing scriptures over my knees, legs and health. Once, when I went to a teaching session by Pastor David Wong Kim, he prayed for me and said that my healing would be a miracle and a testimony.

In July, my knee became very erratic and seemed to deteriorate. I wondered why my knee was so sensitive? It seemed to get aggravated so easily. Why was there so much weakness? I felt I was in a tunnel and I couldn’t see the light at the end.

I consulted a senior orthopaedic doctor. He examined my knee and leg thoroughly - everything seemed alright except for the fact that I could barely walk 1 inch without crutches. He ordered blood tests to check for gout, rheumatoid arthritis etc.  The results were all clear.

I was really desperate as I felt that neither the doctors nor the physiotherapist could help me. On Tuesday 27 July, I emailed Pastor Rusty Russell out of desperation. I didn’t know him personally but had attended the SAC, St. Andrew’s Cathedral, church camp in 2004 where he was the speaker. Rusty replied after midnight saying where he would be speaking & he also said he would be free Thursday 3pm. So we arranged to meet Thursday 29 July afternoon in the Cathedral.

I was asking God what I needed to do to be healed.  As I did my quiet time on Thursday 29 July morning.  I felt God telling me that I just needed to trust Him completely, and not be anxious.

When I saw the Senior Orthopaedic consultant that same morning He offered an option to do knee arthroscopy to poke inside to see if they had missed out anything. He said, “We couldn’t do anything else for you.”  But he cautioned that they might not find anything, in which case I would just need to live with my condition. That was heart-sinking news which I rejected in the name of Jesus.

From the hospital, I went to Cathedral after lunch. Pastor June Tan was talking with me in the Nave when Pastor Rusty arrived, so she was a first-hand witness. Rusty told me to release forgiveness to any who had hurt me. So I did so. Actually I had already done this many times in private. But I guess confessing in front of others also helps. He cast out rejection and other things from me. He annointed me with oil and prayed for my healing in Jesus’ name.

Then he placed a chair on the blue carpet of the aisle near the front of the Nave. He asked me sit on the chair and stretch out my legs. My left leg was shorter than my right leg. Rusty prayed and my left leg lengthened to be the same length as my right. Then he motioned me to walk and I simply got up and walked! I could walk freely without crutches – with no pain or weakness at all! I was overwhelmed with joy to walk again after 4 months! I cried and prayed “Thank You Jesus! Thank You! I can walk again!” I walked down the aisle from the front of the Nave near the sanctuary to the baptismal font, and back up again. In my great joy, I walked up and down this stretch several times! All praise to Jesus!

HEALED IN JESUS NAME!

Our God is a great and loving God! I knew God could heal me where man cannot. He hears our desperate prayers. Pastor Rusty Russell is based in the US but God had arranged for him to be in Singapore at a crucial stage when I was desperate for help. Praise God for His wonderful work and His faithful servant Rusty!

Yummy Cambodian Fruit

Many foreigners who travel to Cambodia these days either make it one of their vacation stops or are here on International Business with their companies, but for the local Cambodian life is getting better. It seems they like to receive the American Dollar instead of their own Baht or even the Singapore dollar. I am finding many hungry for Jesus and what He might say to them, or help them as they seek to follow Him.

I have arrived in my 57th Nation and have already ministered to over 120 Pastors and Leaders from several towns in Cambodia, once I stepped onto the ground I claimed that Cambodia was part of my portion!

However, not without a fight. It seems that every new city or country where I minister, although preparation has been made and much prayer been given, there seems to be some demons that don’t want to back up and give up. But we have the Victory in Jesus name. Knowing these truths is not enough, one must fight the good fight of faith, and all through the nite last night, every time I laid down I began to cough which I found out later what not because I was sick. Before sleeping we cleansed our rooms of all who had used them in the past and released the power of the Holy Spirit to indwell here with us.

But I could not rest, so not to disturb my team partner, I got dressed and went to the hotel lobby. With shortness of breath I meditated prayers to Jesus instead of voicing them. Once seated I could not get the internet. Not to worry, I decided to proof my new book I have been writing. I actually allowed my computer to read it to me! Wow! Just listening to the scriptures and from the Word and the message was bringing peace to my chest, the cough stopped and rest came back. Jesus had arrested the cough!

I went back to bed but with only a few precious hours to sleep before time to get up and go to the meetings. Once up I had to make a choice! I chose to LET GOD ARISE, AND HIS AND MY ENEMIES BE SCATTERED. It would have been easy to complain and be in a bad mood, but As Jesus Arose in me, the Joy of the Lord became my source of strength and the love of the Mission won my attitude! With that on the right course my Angels began to clear the path and make a way for the Word preached to hit it’s mark and disperse the remaining devils! Ha! That Joker lost at the cross and WE PROVED AGAIN TODAY WE ARE ON THE WINNING TEAM – ANOINTING TO BREAK THE HEAVY YOKE AND SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!

By the time I was to speak this morning the Anointing of Jesus had ARISEN IN AND ON ME! HE carried me and full voice returned! Our team of prophets led and Co-ordinated by Prophet Eddie Choo, one whom I have trained in the prophetic over the last 6 years, blessed me with the expert way in which he pulled together a great group of leaders here in Cambodia. I am really excited for the anointing and depth of Spirit which carries him. The love and passion for Jesus and His people is evident! I am blessed and proud to have had a little part in his growth.

This door was really opened by another friend of mine a few months ago, a real warrior in the Spiritual realm and a Godly man, Richard. His constant travel here to minister twice a year proved to gain greater fruitfulness for our team. Thanks Brother Richard for paving the way for us!

I shared today on How To Hear God’s Voice, these ministers were excited to find so many ways in which Jesus can speak and their confidence level grew as God used many of them to minister to others. Several testified that when another stepped out in faith to HEAR GOD SPEAK TO THEM and they SPOKE what they heard, they were amazed because they heard the confirmation of the answer to their questions which they had asked God in the first exercise!

What a joy to train thirsty leaders. Tonight we will seek to bring them higher and deeper into prophetic truth which will help equip them to minister in the harder areas of Cambodia.

Well this is just the first day of ministry, we have two more power packed days. Want to help us? Send up some prayer cover for us! It is really hot here and the building we meet in has no air conditioning, but a lot of fans, tonight should be cooler. I will teach at about 8 pm Singapore time or 8 am EST.

Just before I post this note since the Internet comes and goes I wanted to add a few details of what happened tonight. I shared on God’s desire to use us all in the Gift of Prophecy. As I taught I added stories of how the Lord has used me over the years to prophesy in different countries. Once these saints discovered that the Holy Spirit can teach and train all of us to prophesy hungry hearts began to seek the Lord to use them to prophesy.  As we anointed all by laying hands on them, many of them stepped out in faith  for the first time to prophesy.  Thank you Jesus, like you, we taught and demonstrated the Word preached.

Well, it is bedtime for me, I will teach tomorrow on the Gift of Working of Miracles!  I really like this teaching, God gives us such great MIRACLES when we step out in faith to believe for them! Glory!

I am so blessed on this my second Quarterly trip to Asia, I have with my my lovely wife, Mildred.  We have been celebrating it seems this whole month of May our Anniversary!  It is not really until the 24th but we decided not to wait till the day but we would just celebrate it everyday that we are together on this trip!  More fun that way!

At many of the meetings where we have shared Jesus, taught, prayed for the sick, or prophesied, Mildred has been given the opportunity to teach and encourage those gathered.  Many have been blessed with her teaching!  A few nights ago in a cell meeting Jesus came into our midst. We did not see his physical form but we could acknowledge He was with us.  Many could smell the fragrance of Jesus.  One smelt beautiful flowers, another tangy incense, another vanilla, and still another Jasmine.  Some felt heat upon their hands and bodies, some would say not hard to do in this muggy climate, but we were in an air-con room!  When I feel the heat I know it is the anointing of Jesus and I look for someone to lay my hands on to receive either a fresh outpouring of anointing, healing, and love!

TESTIMONIES ENCOURAGE US ALL:

One of the men I am mentoring in the prophetic ministry, Lawrence, just emailed me to encourage me.  He said, “My Full Gospel Chapter President was recently on an FGB trip to Greece. While there he met up with an Armenian lady who shared that some 20 years ago she was ministered and prophesied over by Rusty Russell in Russia.  She told him that everything Rusty told her has come to pass!!!  By the way she was surprised that our President is closely acquainted with you as well!”

Stephanie said, “You prayed for my Mom in the Hospital. When you first saw her she was in a coma with a brain clot and other complications, she was totally unresponsive. Now, I’ve great news, just a few days later my Mom can respond to us by nodding, shaking her head, smile, frown, she understands what we are saying. She can blink and sniff and stick out her tongue, she is moving both arms and left leg!  Even the doctor is amazed! We still need to pray her through to complete victory, but we are so encouraged how God is answering our prayers!”

“Rusty, can you come to the hospital and pray for our friend she has a brain tumor?” Said K.Y.  But before I could go there she was rushed into the operating room where they removed part of the tumor, but the part left was wrapped around a vital area and they had to leave it. When I finally arrived yesterday to pray for her, which was interesting since it was only a few room’s down from where Stephanie’s Mom was, I was able to anoint her and pray for her healing.  But when I finished my prayer, I heard Jesus speak to me, “Rusty, ask her if she is angry with anyone?”  When I did that, she said yes.  After a few more prayers, Jesus gave her the grace to pray and forgive all those who had offended her and released her from the bondage that hatred brings!  Guess what? JESUS FLOODED HER SOUL AND SHE ACCEPTED JESUS AS HER LORD AND SAVIOR!  YES! LORD JESUS! THANK YOU!

With the Joy of the Lord still fresh upon her, Jesus spoke to me again, “Rusty, she is experiencing terrible pain in her neck on the right side. Ask her if it is true and pray for her.”  I did, and she said yes.  I prayed for her and Jesus POWER SET HER FREE~ THANK YOU JESUS ~ THAT PAIN IS GONE.  WE are believing for her total recovery. With the Doctors oversight and Jesus power working in her, we believe His miracle will continue! Agree with us for these and others whom we will pray with, thank you!

“Rusty, you prayed over my Mother in law several years ago. She was in the hospital in Jahor Baru, Malaysia.  The Doctors said, “We can give her some medicine to ease her pain and she will die peacefully.”  But you advised them not to do that, but to believe God for a miracle!  You prayed for her, and it was translated into Hokien (a form of Chinese) since she couldn’t understand us. We all beleived God for His miracle of healing.”
I remembered this event and I remembered I could feel the power of Jesus flow into her, but we notice no major change even when we tried to lift her up from the bed.  But as is my habit, I have to go on to the next country, next mission, and a couple of years went past.  But last week, I was asked by this same lady, “Rusty can you pray again in JB for my mother in law?  God saved her soul, healed her body and now we just need a few more prayers!”  Praise the Lord!  He is good!

Agree with me for a continued Fresh Outpouring of the FIRE OF JESUS into the lives of those who hear my voice, receive prayers for healing and for salvation!  God truly answers prayers of agreement!

Here are some scriptures to read, confess, believe if you are sick and in need of healing, or if your loved one is sick and in need of healing:  Remember, when you LAY YOUR HANDS ON SICK PEOPLE JESUS WILL WORK WITH YOU TO RELEASE HIS HEALING POWER – BUT YOU MUST BELIEVE YOU RECEIVE BEFORE YOU SEE!

I CONFESS:
SOOOOOOOOOO!!!!  I give you THANKS MY GOD! I am redeemed by the blood of the Jesus. He has delivered me from my enemies, He has delivered me from (name here the sickness attacking your body now)! My body is redeemed….I AM BELIEVING YOUR HEALING POWER IS RELEASED IN ME AND I AM SAYING – SO!

Psa. 107:9: “For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.” Amp

I CONFESS:

O my soul you are filled, I am hungry no more, for I am filled with good things! …I BELIEVE YOUR HEALING POWER IS RELEASED IN ME!

Psa. 107:17-20: “Some are fools [made ill] because of the way of their transgressions and are afflicted because of their iniquities (sins). They loathe (abhorred) every kind of food, and they draw near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivers them out of their distresses. He SENDS FORTH HIS WORD AND HEALS THEM AND RESCUES THEM FROM THE PIT AND DESTRUCTION.” (my caps)(amp.)

I CONFESS:
Though I was made ill because of my sins, I repent and forsake them now. This day I believe I receive forgiveness and I accept God’s Word into my heart by grace.  YOU ARE MY DELIVERER! YOU ARE MY HEALER! I TRUST IN YOUR WORD TODAY! I AM DELIVERED FROM THE PIT OF MY DESTRUCTION…

JOHN 10:10 “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Amp. Bible

I CONFESS:
I receive the Life Jesus brought to me to have in abundance, I am overflowing in the abundance of Jesus healing Life and power! ….I BELIEVE YOUR HEALING POWER IS RELEASED IN ME!
