Come with me to Nepal…
I feel like I am on a great new adventure. The air is clean once you leave the congested areas of the city of Kathmandu and the small city of Surkhet. As we head for the mountains where the air is clearer. In Kathmandu it is either a real dusty town presently, or if raining a real muddy town. From this city when the clouds or haze is not present you can see the Himalayan mountain range in the distance. It has been in the high 90′s all the time I have been here and hotter in Surkhet! No air conditioning! You have to get out from that city to experience more of the tribal culture of Nepal.

Do you want banannas?
For the Nepali’s it is business as usual, they walk everywhere, the fortunate ones have motorbikes or a vehicle, I would call it a car but I rode in a van yesterday, actually had to hire it and it was held together with chewing gum and baling wire! I think they had remade this one from parts of others. But besides that we are having a great time.
This time instead of riding a motor bike, since I am healthy in my knees and legs, I walked the distance to the Gumi Village, not that far about 3 km, up a small grade, With a backpack on which made it a lot better than lugging a brief case. I got a lot of great pictures and I will share a few in this note. This is a church I visited last year and they have been growing deeper in Jesus which is a great thing. Oh, did I mention the heat, HEAT! You would think in the land of the Himalayan Mountains, the tallest in the world it would be cold, but in the valley’s it feels like a steamy florida summer day, it reached about 100 yesterday, and we sweated and drank a lot of water and I taught the Word, prophesied, and prayed for the sick for over 6 hours! Great fun, but draining of energy! Thank God the streets literally roll up around here by 7 pm, and by 8 pm, many are heading to bed! Rest is great here, nothing else to do but cast devils out of people and pray for the sick! LOL!
I get about 20 minutes on the net per day which is cramping my style of being on so much.
Well, I have had dirreaha all nite but am better now, ha ha! I believe if something wants to come out that bad GET RID OF IT! Last month over 300 people died here in Nepal, about 50 from one village because they did not have 1 pill which could have stopped the “BIG D”. CHOLERA, DYSENTERY AND other treatable diseases were left unchecked and killed a lot of people, but things are okay now.

Nepali Terrorists Against Christianity and Churches!!!
The churches here have been put to the test in that a new terrorist group, Nepali Defense Army, has been harassing the churches to give them money so they would not blow up their buildings and kill their people. Well, the day before I arrived the army and police found and arrested the leader of this group and captured the one who blew up the Catholic church. They are in jail now. PTL.
Some of my Pastor friends here were telling me how their own personal lives were threatened to be murdered if they didn’t pay them money…. While I was in one new church preaching the Lord told me that the church was “under a curse of death at their property and with their ministers”.. They concurred that this terrorist group had been on the property demanding money. So we broke the curse! They agreed! Now as a precautio they have metal detectors and other security measures in place to ward off would be attackers.
Shall I cook for you?

….hmm noodles good, but the dish was dirty,
it must have been the culprit which gave me the big “D” or the “Johnny Quick Step”, but Jesus healed me by next morning.
Deaf ears healed, backs, legs, necks, heads, other injuries healed with the release of the Word of Knowledge and prayers for healing! Glory to Jesus!
We climbed up the mountain, we thought we might not reach the top, but once on top our Singaporean including me began to teach, and share with the Bible School. Ministers have traveled by walking or riding a bus then climbing up the Mountain to join in our time together.
The Holy Spirit moved upon me to teach, exhort to seek a deeper walk and experience with Jesus. Then as I prophesied His Spirit blanketed us with His Glory, so powerful was His release that many of us could not stand. We knelt down and I laid down on the floor, together we felt the weight of His Presence upon us, making us unable to stand, but then who wants to stand when the His glory is present, we all were soaking in while listening to Ruth Fazal’s music. Some were having visions and while others were seeing Jesus face! And still others heard Jesus speak directly to them and were encouraged! Yes! Lord Jesus come with more power!
Reaching PEOPLE GROUPS UNTOUCHED BY THE GOSPEL
I am back in Kathmandu now but leaving today, Friday 18th Sept., for Simara and Hetauda for the the next few days, south of Katmandu. I looking forward to this day as the travel by air and car will put me in new territory in Nepal which I have never traveld before! Believe with me that many will be saved and healed and prophesied over. My translator in Gumi and Chinchu, Sabin who works with YWAM in Surkhet, tells me of a mission he just came from in the high mountain villages where people have never been reached with the gospel. It took him 7 days to trek into the village walking through jungles and knee deep snow dodging the tigers and snow leopards (not the latest operating system for the Apple computers!)
He took with him several porters who carried all the equipment needed to bring Solar power to this village and give them lights in the night for the first time in their history! One of the porters spilled some of the battery acid on his clothes which burned off of him. Sabin offered to purchase more clothes for him and asked if he were angry he was burned? His response was, “My grandfather, and father never had light, now I with you am bringing in the light, this is historic and I am blessed to have been a part of those who will bring the light.” Interesting these were the very words Sabin used to share the light of the World – Jesus with this tribe. They listened to him because he was the bearer of the light, both Sun light and Son light!
PLAN FOR NEW NEPAL MISSION ADVENTURE FOR 2010
My heart and zeal began to burn within me when I heard Sabin’s testimony. I felt the Lord placed into my heart that I should lead a team of fellow Adventurers to reach these unreached Villages with the Gospel next year. I will have room for 7 hearty healthy Christian Adventurers full of faith and the Holy Spirit who would like to join me on a Traking mission into the Himalayan Mountains. We will go as high as 9,800 feet in altitude well below the snow line. It would be about a 20 day trip, 14 days / 7 days traking in and 7 traking out, and then minister in a few other cities in Nepal. But I will highlight this Adventure in the Wilderness later. I really want to reach these people groups. Details will follow in other News letters!
God bless you all and keep praying for me - God is moving by His power and it is Increasing here in Nepal!
