Devil Tried to Kill Me With Spinal Meningitis, Bone Cyst, and Dangerous Situations

My story is one of disobedience and rebellion, I have continually run from God’s calling in my life and repeatedly placed myself in situations where the enemy and death had control over me rather than the Lord.

I was born with spinal meningitis and subsequently have suffered from hearing loss in my right ear; I had a bone cyst removed from my leg at an early age narrowly missing having it amputated; and I have had a gun pulled on me in point blank range on three different occasions. I developed pneumonia and had to have my lung drained, there were complication during surgery and I was declared dead twice on the operating table. Thankfully the doctors were able to revive me.

ATTACKED BY DEPRESSION AND A SPIRIT OF SUICIDE

Just 5 weeks ago my circumstances deteriorated to the point, to where I was seriously contemplating suicide. I had lost my job and my girlfriend left me and my whole life became a disaster. I really wanted to hurt myself. When I phoned into a suicide hot line for help and counseling, little did I know that the police would come into my situation. Soon the phone booth where I was calling from was surrounded by 4 police squad cars, and I was taken to the emergency room and then placed in the hospital in their effort to rescue me. But I knew deep in my heart that medicine was not the answer.

When my friend, Joe, who was concerned for me called me, he re-introduced me to his friend who is a minister on FACEBOOK. When I contacted Johnathan Bislew, he shared with me the path to new life and freedom in Jesus.

I have been challenged by Johnathan to repent of trying to blackmail God in regards to my prideful desire to have a Damascus Road experience. Although I truly desired to go deeper in my relationship with Jesus I had to lay this desire on the altar and let it die.

Johnathan brought me to Maranatha Christian Fellowship last night in Minneapolis. Rusty Russell was speaking. I realized he had no idea about those details in my life which have led me to my present circumstances. Neither did he know that I had rededicated and deepen my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

But when the Holy Spirit convicted me, revealing to me that tonight was the time to be delivered from depression I was ready to stand saying, Yes, Rusty, I need freedom, too! Rusty looked right at me and began to tell me about my life: You have a spirit of death trying to kill you since your birth, sickness and disease has tried to take your life, others have placed guns at you to kill you, depression is trying to kill you and you have yielded to a spirit of suicide, but today, Jesus says, I WILL DELIVER YOU AND SET YOU FREE! He went on to speak victory as he prophesied God’s desire to use me in a mighty way in advancing the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit through Rusty also broke the hold of depression on me bringing me freedom! Wow! I wanted to spend the night at the church building last night! I was powerfully set free! And I could feel the very presence of Jesus in this place.

Rusty told me that God will use me to heal the sick by laying my hands on them. Earlier he had given a word of knowledge for healing and he allowed me to pray the first prayer of healing. This is something I have longed to do!!! Wow! Jesus POWER WENT THROUGH ME AND HEALED GARRETT’S SHOULDER! Rusty actually asked Garrett to pray for my ear! I AM HEALED! God through my brother Rusty rocked me to my spiritual core, I will never be the same again, Praise Jesus!!!!”
