THE POWER OF ‘THE POINT OF CONTACT’

I love Jesus. I love to walk with Him, and talk to Him, and listen to Him speak to me. I love to be led by Him in praying for those who are sick to become well. I thank my God, whom expects me to believe Him for mighty miracles and signs and wonders to take place when I lay my hands on people or to speak the words of life over them as A POINT OF CONTACT!

Jesus said to me, “Rusty, do you believe in the power of the POINT OF CONTACT?” – “Yes indeed!” was my answer.

When I hear this term “POINT OF CONTACT” I understand it to mean, “My faith or the faith of another can be released to believe for healing or for miracles, when a POINT OF CONTACT is made. The most common usage takes place with the LAYING ON OF HANDS.”

OUR HANDS – COMPUTERS – HAND PHONES -

When I am praying for people over the internet I ask them, “TOUCH the part of your body which is sick or where you feel the pain, and now TOUCH your computer screen with your other hand – the Holy Spirit tells me even which part of their screen to touch – and this becomes a POINT OF CONTACT.” Our faith is in agreement and is activated and released believing for Jesus healing power to give them their healing. Many times people are healed and our computers are thankfully saved from the power surge.

A “POINT OF CONTACT” – recently I prayed for a man named Andrew, he had had migraine headaches for 13 years. At that moment and for over one month he was suffering from a migraine. All the pain killers he was taking had made no effect on its change.

13 YEARS OF HELL’S SICKNESS GRIP

However, when I had Elaine, the intercessor with whom I was speaking, call Andrew on her Chinese cell phone, and she placed it next to the computer speakers. As we talked over SKYPE.com we were all hearing each other but we could not physically touch each other, so we were using the cell phones and computers for our POINT OF CONTACT and JESUS who knows no distance in the spiritual realm INSTANTLY HEALED ANDREW AND DELIVERED HIM FROM 13 YEARS OF HEALTH HELL! Thank you Jesus! Now two years later Andrew still praises the Lord and lives healed of migraine headaches.

I know when I pray for people many times my hands are the POINT OF CONTACT, WHEN I TOUCH THEIR HEAD AND ADD SOME OIL TO IT, GOD DOES HIS WONDERS AND SOMETIMES I CAN FEEL HIS POWER FLOW THROUGH ME! IT IS GLORIOUS! Sometimes the Point of Contact is met by one coming forward for prayer. In this case the POWER of God is released from heaven before one can be touched physically. They are touched by the Holy Spirit Himself delivering the healing power Jesus provided for each of us through his shed blood.

A test was run many years ago in a laboratory where people (just ordinary people) touched a glass of water, and then a second glass of water was left alone with no one touching it. Afterwards the water in both glasses were run through a series of tests, the one which had been held and touched showed signs that the molecular structure was active where as in the other glass it was not.

RUSSIAN HEALING

I remember a time when I was ministering in Russia in 2001, I was asked to pray over a garment to be laid on a sick person. In the middle of the prayer the POWER of God hit me, knocking me back into the brother who was assisting me. We both went backwards into a brick wall. It was like we were hit with a bolt of lightning. I asked my friend, “Are you okay?” He said, “I am HEALED!” I said, “Of what are you healed?”

He said, “I lived in Chernobyl, Russia, at the time of the nuclear disaster. Most of my family died in the radioactive fallout, I am suffering from radiation poisoning and I am dying as well. But I felt all the pain and sickness leave my body when you fell back upon me! I AM HEALED!!” Praise the Lord! OUR POINT OF CONTACT WAS THE CLOTH – GOD CONTACTED US WITH HIS HEALING POWER – as for the girl who placed the cloth on her Auntie, I am not sure if she recovered?

When someone TOUCHES someone else in love, love is transmitted, if touched in anger, bad feelings or rejection is transmitted.

I think of the scriptures in Mark 16:17-18, “…you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover” James 5:14, elders anoint with oil and healing occurs, Luke the woman with the issue of blood – “If I can but touch the hem of his garment I shall be healed”

SCRIPTURES ON TOUCH OR TOUCHING

Here are some scriptures WHERE people were TOUCHED or they TOUCHED JESUS and you see the written results.  (WHERE TOUCH is Capitalized it is by me, NKJV)

Mt 9:21 -
For she was saying to herself, “If I only TOUCH His garment, I will get well.”

Mt 14:36 -
And they implored Him that they might just TOUCH the fringe of His cloak; and as many as touched {it} were cured.

Mr 3:10 -
For He had healed many, with the result that all those who had afflictions pressed around Him in order to TOUCH Him.

Mr 5:28 -
For she thought, “If I just TOUCH His garments, I will get well.”

Mr 6:56 -
Wherever He entered villages, or cities, or countryside, they were laying the sick in the market places, and imploring Him that they might just TOUCH the fringe of His cloak; and as many as touched it were ! being cured.

Mr 8:22 -
And they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Jesus and implored Him to TOUCH him.

Mr 10:13 -
And they were bringing children to Him so that He might TOUCH them; but the disciples rebuked them.

Lu 6:19 -
And all the people were trying to TOUCH Him, for power was coming from Him and healing {them} all.

Lu 8:46 -
But Jesus said, “Someone did TOUCH Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me.”

Lu 18:15 -
Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them . 16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.

AUSTRALIAN TESTIMONY

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, I speak to this disease (name the disease here) attacking my body. This sickness is not mine, I don’t own it but I disown now it in Jesus name. Jesus you died on the cross for me and you rose from the dead. I accept the finished work you accomplished on your cross. I lay down at the foot of your cross this sickness and from You I receive the STRIPES you bore on your back and the BLOOD you shed for me. I apply Your blood and stripes they are for my healing, I say, “I am healed.” I receive MY HEALING NOW IN JESUS NAME. I plead the blood of Jesus, it is your blood that sets me free, I replace the pain with your blood, Your blood is my healing, I am free to believe, and I believe I receive my healing now! Thank you Jesus, I receive the release of Your healing power in me now… Thank you Jesus, praise you Jesus, I love you Jesus! Amen.
